Australia achieved the target of 158 runs in 28.5 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. In the first ODI match played in Brisbane, Pakistan Women scored 160 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 40 overs.
On behalf of Pakistan, Nida Dar played a responsible innings of 59 and captain Bisma Maruf 28 runs, Fatima Sana and Dayna Baig took one wicket each for Pakistan.
Darcy Brown and Jonassen took 2 and 2 wickets for Australia.
However, a video of the run-out of Nida Dar and Kainat Imtiaz is going viral on social media, in which it can be seen that both the players reached the non-striker’s end together.
